GICLEE PRINTS and MASTERWORK REPRODUCTIONS
A giclee (zhee-CLAY) is an individually produced, high-resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. Giclees are produced from digital scans or existing artwork or a digital file. Giclee is derived from a French word meaning "sprayed ink".
The giclees are printed locally on a 12 color commercial printer by a professional photographer and artist. Acrylic and oil paintings are reproduced on canvas. The canvas is then put on stretcher bars ready to be framed by the client if desired. Watercolors and pastels are printed on high quality archival paper ready to be framed behind glass. Ink used on all prints is archival quality to prevent fading over time.
All giclee prints are hand signed by the artist.
